  1. Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine

Anthony’s has been operating since 1980, and it is very apparent why. Anthony’s offers a seasonal menu changing out options based on the produce that is freshest in NJ at that time of the year. It is a small quant sit down restaurant with recent renovations to the dining room, and a few tables available out front of the restaurant. Anthony’s is BYOB and is a great place to tame your Italian food cravings. Their seasonal ravioli are always delectable, fresh and homemade, and a personal favorite of my wife and I. They also have a traditional offer of multiple pasta dishes, and an excellently executed pork chop. Overall the restaurant offers equivalent quality of cuisine compared to many of the Italian restaurants in adjacent towns such as Collingswood and Haddonfield. Being one of the few full services restaurants, and with the seasonal delicious offerings, Anthony’s easily is one of the best restaurants available in Haddon Heights.

  1. Local Links Market Cafe

Local Links is located in the center of town on Station avenue, and prides itself on using fresh and local sources product. They are setup as a traditional café, offering takeaway, and dine in with limited seating. The fresh produce and locally sourced product results in wonderfully executed, and fresh options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their breakfast burrito’s have multiple options for the meats from homemade sausage to smoked flank steak, and are easily one of the best options offered for breakfast at Local Links. A few days a week they offer fish tacos, with varying fish options that are perfect to enjoy on a hot summer night. Local Links, has live music on Fridays, wine to purchase, and is centrally located and accessible during most of the events organized in town. Nothing is better than sitting outside at Local Links right next to the farmers market on Sundays with live music, and excellent food and coffee.
