Frutti di Mare
Shellfish over pasta with a tomato sauce

- Pasta roller
Ingredients
Pasta
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 jumbo eggs
- pinch of salt
Frutti di Mare
- 10 little neck clams
- 10 mussels
- 10 medium shrimp
- 3/4 lb tomatoes san marzano, roma
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 medium onion minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp parmigiana
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Pasta
- Mix ingredients, and continue knead until dough is formed
- Let dough sit in the fridge for 30 mins
- Use pasta press to roll out linguini
- Bring salted water to a boil, and pasta is finished once it floats to the top
Frutti di Mare
- Heat pain over medium heat, add olive oil, garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes
- Rough chop half tomatoes, and puree the rest, then add to pan
- Add in mussels, and clams and until they open
- Reduce sauce to a simmer, and add shrimp
- Toss linguine in sauce, mix in parmigiana, add salt and pepper to taste
