Breakfast Tostada
Eggs, Crema, on a tostada
Ingredients
Tostada
- 1/3 cup corn flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup canola oil
Huevos
- 4 Jumbo Eggs
- 1 diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- cilantro for garnish
- salt
- pepper
Crema
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
Tostada
- Mix flour and warm water and create four equal balls of dough, then flatten into tortilla
- Heat canola oil in shallow pan over medium heat, and fry tortilla until golden brown
Huevos
- Sautee green peppers, and set aside
- Cook eggs over easy, and season with salt, pepper, and cayenne
Crema
- Mix all ingredients together, and whisk until light and fluffy serve over eggs, and garnish with cilantro
