Chicken Marsala
Ingredients
Chicken Marsala
- 1 chicken breast
- flour for dredging
- kosher salt
- garlic powder
- coarse ground pepper
- 1/4 cup grapeseed oil
- 1/2 cup slice cremini mushroom
- 1/2 cup dry white wine Preferably marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- parsley to garnish
Pasta
- 2 jumbo eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup flour
Instructions
Chicken Marsala
- Slice chicken breast in half and tenderize into thing pieces
- Evenly season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder then dredge in flour
- Heat pan with grapeseed oil then lightly fry chicken until golden brown
- Add mushrooms and sauté until golden brown
- Add white wine and allow time to boil down, then add stock and butter and simmer for 1 minute
Pasta
- Mix flour, salt, and egg until dough is formed
- Knead dough into ball and allow dough to sit in fridge for 15-30 minutes
- Boil water and add pasta, pasta is finished after 1 minute or when it floats to the top
