If you are going to Chef Vola’s please come hungry. Chef Vola’s is a classic Italian restaurant inside a home in the middle of Atlantic City. When walking into the restaurant you feel like you have been invited into your aunts house for Sunday dinner. They have all of the Italian American classics, covering all the bases from a traditional antipasto to to their famous veal parm. While they don’t necessarily have any culinary complexities on their menu the really knock out of the park what they have to offer. The pasta comes in huge portions with multiple options for sauces from ricotta blush to anchovy and oil. Their desserts are ricotta cheesecakes with the option to add gelato, and some homemade chilled desserts like banana cream pie. All of the desserts are delicious and pair well with a double espresso or an affogato. Overall this restaurant really puts meaning to the phrase it’s nothing like mom’s cooking. With the long standing history of this restaurant being around for over 100 years and the wonderful aesthetic and amazing staff it’s really is a worthwhile experience for any Italian food lovers
