Kimchi Bokkeumbap
Korean fried rice with eggs, and kimchi
Equipment
- Rice cooker
Ingredients
- 2 cup rice
- 4 jumbo eggs
- 1 small onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 cup kimchi see notes for recipe
- 3 tbsp kimchi juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili paste
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seed
- canola oil
- chives
- kosher salt
- coarse ground pepper
Instructions
- Cook rice in rice cooker based on recommended instructions on rice cooker
- Dice onion and carrots, and sauté with canola oil until soft
- Add rice, and remaining ingredients except for egg, and cook 3-4 minutes on high heat
- Fry eggs and place on top with chives
